SafeHaven is seeking a Director of Development.

The Director of Development reports to the Chief Philanthropy Officer and is responsible for carrying forward and executing all aspects of the fundraising strategy, including fundraising for the operational budget, stewarding donors, and expanding/diversifying overall giving.

This position’s key responsibilities include meeting revenue goals, forming relationships with and soliciting donors, implementing the annual giving program, and supervising the Development Manager.

The position has significant responsibilities in regard to facilitating solicitation and stewardship of corporate and individual giving across all levels to ensure the achievement of annual fundraising goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree earned from an accredited University.
  • 3 - 4 years of fundraising experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in working with diverse community groups, including individual and corporate donors.
  • Familiarity with fundraising software, preferred.
  • Ability to work a hybrid environment effectively, consistently, and positively.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.
  • Work in tandem with the development team.

The base salary for this position is $62,100 annually.  Prior experience and other variables may be considered for an increase in the salary offer.
