United Way Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) is a mission-driven, social change organization leading the charge to improve access to education, income, and health in North Texas.  The position of Senior Account Executive has a critical role in strengthening workplace engagement and volunteer advocacy in support UWMD Aspire United 2030 goals in Education, Income and Health. 

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the oversight and management of Workplace Campaigns, leading the Corporate Account Executive (CEA) team, expanding our community outreach, management of accounts and setting individual and team goals.  The Senior Account Executive is responsible for stewardship of relationships and performs a range of duties which include but are not limited to planning, coordinating, and managing workplace campaign activities.  This position is often the point of contact with companies and workplace donors requiring a high level of professionalism to project a positive image.

This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Corporate and Foundation Engagement within the Resource Development department.

  • Ability to establish a professional and positive leadership role with corporate partners, volunteers, CAE team, and organization staff.

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management platform

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Establish and monitor account goals.
  • Oversee work of teams assigned to each of your accounts.
  • Identify and meet with prospective partners in establishing workplace engagements. Identify corporate social responsibility and workplace goals that align with UWMD Education, Income & Health pillars for campaign engagements.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and account executives.
  • Draft and deliver proposals or pitches to potential clients.
  • Preparation of meeting materials reports, executive presentations
  • Manage existing accounts to identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Ensure accurate and timely account management reporting across the team.
  • Executive outreach in supporting UWMD external relationships and building new relationships.
  • Timely approvals and submission of executive expenses - expense reports, credit card reconciliation, mileage, and toll reimbursements.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: 

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years relevant experience in Resource Development, Business, or a relevant field

Desired:   

  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Experience 2-3 years in B2B sales

EXPERIENCE:  

  • Team leadership and team development
  • Experience in account management.
  • Experience in Resource Development, business, or sales
  • Experience in and B2B sales
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
