Description
The Women’s Center is seeking a full-time, master-level therapist in our Rape Crisis and Victim Services Program to work with crime/abuse victims. Therapist will perform initial assessments and provide ongoing counseling in an agency setting. Crisis intervention, facilitating groups, and case management may also be a part of the duties. Record-keeping is both written and computerized and includes case notes, assessments, and evaluations.
Must have access to regular and reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and be prepared to drive own vehicle on Center business as requested.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree and State Licensure (ie: LMSW) required
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Experience with individual and group therapy required
- Trauma therapy experience a plus
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Due to the nature of its work with victims of violence, The Women’s Center will not employ or retain in employment anyone who has been convicted of a violent crime including but not limited to assault, robbery, murder or any sex offense.
