Daystar Christian Television Network is looking for a Marketing Assistant to work at their Headquarters in Bedford, Texas.

As part of the creative team, the communications assistant is one of the most important roles because they are the “I can do anything,” “nothing is impossible” individual that get stuff done when it’s crunch time. The Marketing Assistant serves as the hands and feet of the department, conquering any mountain or deadline they face. I’m ready…

  • To assist with planning and production of events
  • To create and edit copy for various projects – both print and online, internal and external
  • To research/manage special projects and events as required
  • To support the Social Media team as needed with moderating, scheduling, and engagement
  • To assist with managing reports and other marketing outlets
  • To maintain electronic and physical filing systems
  • To manage monthly expense reports
  • To provide administrative support to department staff (i.e. errands, etc.)
  • To maintain and order supplies as needed for events, productions, photo shoots, trips, etc.

  • A valid Texas Driver’s License
  • High school diploma
  • A positive attitude (a must)
  • 1-3 years’ experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email and internet usage
  • Proven proficiency engaging on Social Media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
  • Excellent writing/communication skills
  • Exceptional organization skills
