PURPOSE OF POSITION:

 The JA Finance Park Manager actively contributes to the effective operation of JA Finance Park assuring quality and effectiveness of the student, teacher, and volunteer experience. This position provides administrative, facilitation, and outreach support by working closely with the Director of Capstone Operations, students, teachers, volunteers, and fellow team members.

Scope: Full Time Position

Reports to: Director of Capstone Operations

Position Type: Hybrid

Salary Range:  $43,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with experience)

Eligible for performance-based incentives

 PROGRAM MANAGEMENT & IMPLEMENTATION:

  • Recruit schools and volunteers for JA Finance Park, both in-person and virtually
  • Facilitate training sessions for educators and provide program support to school partners.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot common issues with simulation software.
  • Create a positive experience for students, teachers, and volunteers in partnership with Capstone and other JA staff.
  • Assist the Capstone Director with testing and assessments.
  • Work with school district representatives to provide information and resolve inquiries related to program implementation and evaluation.
  • Create simulations in CMS for the JA Finance Park program.
  • Travel to multiple locations in the DFW area to lead the JA Finance Park simulation.
  • Lead and direct JAFP support staff on simulation days
  • Inspect and report any issues with the equipment to the Capstone Director
  • Coordinate travel and storage for JAFP pop-up to locations in the DFW area

 STEWARDSHIP:

  • Steward relationships with educators and volunteers; write thank you letters and maintain records.
  • Assist the Capstone Director in developing and preparing marketing materials and other program materials for use within the JA Finance Park program.
  • Ensure pre/post-test, volunteer and educator surveys are complete.

 ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT:

  • Process student/class registrations and maintain records.
  • Run BCRM reports/queries for JA Finance Park as needed.
  • Collect MOUs and rosters from schools.
  • Attend JA USA education calls.
  • Attend scheduled JA Dallas meetings and events.
  • BCRM Data Entry
  • Other projects as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Culturally sensitive with confirmed ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders of different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds and from businesses and industries of varying size and scope.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience working with children.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong intrapreneurial mindset with desire to take initiative.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Must possess strong written/verbal communication skills and be a confident speaker.
  • Flexible with time; able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  The essential functions of this job may require an individual to frequently sit, walk, lift approximately 25-50 pounds of weight on occasions.
