Description

Organization Overview
Mansfield Mission Center (MMC) creates pathways to health and wellbeing for all who live, work and worship in Mansfield ISD. This is realized through free healthcare services, financial empowerment programs, temporary emergency assistance, a free food market and a thriving thrift store.

Founded by First Methodist Mansfield in 1979 as Wesley Mission Center, an independent 501c3 was formed in 2013, and the organization changed its name to Mansfield Mission Center in 2018. The organization serves thousands of residents each year. This is made possible through the work of more than 20 employees and hundreds of volunteers. The revenue growth to support the work has been cultivated through intentional relationships with churches, individual donors, corporate sponsors, ongoing grant writing and thrift store revenue.

To keep pace with the City of Mansfield’s growth, MMC has scaled programs and expanded facilities to meet the communities’ increased need for our services. In 2021, MMC purchased a new property with the YMCA Arlington-Mansfield with the goal of providing whole person health & wellbeing resources under one roof.
