                                                                     Executive Director Position

 

The Pines Catholic Camp offers faith, fun, and fellowship as roots for growing in deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through our American Camp Association accredited summer camps and year-round retreats in Big Sandy, TX. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization is looking to fill the Dallas-based Executive Director position with a strong leader to guide our growth in this mission.

The Executive Director oversees The Pines ministries/programs, finances, fund-raising, marketing, and Staff to achieve goals with a $3.3MM budget, reporting to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include:

Strategic Planning/Ministry Growth

  • Lead the development and execution of Goals and Strategic Plans with Board and Staff for maximum impact
  • Present progress updates on goals, operations, budget, and Staff to the Board
  • Ensure that programs meet camper needs and uphold our faith-based mission and ACA standards

Staff Leadership

  • Hire, train, develop, and direct six straight-line reports, and oversee best-practices personnel policies
  • Exemplify and cultivate a unified, accountable, trusted, joyful, safe environment

 

Fund-Raising/Partnerships

  • Produce an annual Development Plan and lead its execution with Board and Staff to meet goals
  • Develop The Pines’ network of supporters, partners, and sponsors with Board and Staff
  • Represent The Pines’ values as an ambassador through personal virtue and character

 

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree at minimum
  • 10+ years of leadership experience growing programs with successful results
  • Demonstrated background in building donor relationships and reaching fund-raising targets
  • Positive reputation for developing Staff and partnerships
  • Strong financial, management, and computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Participation in faith-based youth programs with fruitful outcomes
  • Passion for The Pines mission
