Description

One Man’s Treasure is seeking a full time Executive Director with non-profit leadership experience to head this growing organization based in Rockwall and Dallas and made up of an active Board of Directors, six full or part-time staff members, 130+ volunteers and a current budget of $450,000 funded through individual and church donors, foundation grants and fundraising activities.

One Man’s Treasure is a faith based 501 c3 that seeks to empower men recently released from state prison to the Dallas, Fort Worth and East Texas area by providing them with clothing and opportunities for networking. Its mission is centered on the belief that if these men can find employment, they can lift themselves out of poverty, attain economic stability for themselves and their families and successfully transition into their communities.  The organization provides each client with essential clothing not only for daily living but also for job interviews and employment opportunities to help them achieve that goal.  Knowing the challenges with transportation facing these men, the clothing is delivered to them at their place of residence. In most cases, male volunteers make the deliveries and take time to visit with the men, encourage them and can refer them to other resources.

Founded in 2005, One Man’s Treasure has served 16,000 men. It has experienced significant growth over the past two years, serving a record 2,053 in 2021 and is projected to serve 2,600 in 2022. Recidivism studies have shown the success of the program
