Title: Event Coordinator
Salary Range $55,000 - $60,000 Full-time

• In this hands-on position, become the face, voice, and key contact for events.

• Your previous event coordination, related work experience, and skills with all aspects are essential.
• Your strong communication skills, as well as being a self-starter who is organized, creative, tech savvy, and able to multi-task, while being personable and professional are also crucial.
• You will have flexibility and a combination of in-office, remote, and community locations as work environments.

Supervisor: Chief Executive Officer

Primary Functions: Conducting recruitment of sponsors and auction donors; managing auctions and other aspects of the event; taking care of logistics and resolving detail; managing volunteers; making sure all the preparations of the event are implemented seamlessly while bringing the plans to action.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct recruitment of participant sponsors and auction donors for the event.
• Help secure enough sponsors and auction donors to achieve the gross fundraising goal of the event.
• Participate with the event planning team as planning and preparations proceed.
• Represent and promote the event at a variety of other community events, promotional events, through print and online media, social media, personal contact, and in other venues as needed.
• Cultivate support and is liaison to diverse individuals, communities, and participants.
• Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers for silent and live auctions, as well as help with other aspects of the event.
• Work closely with our auction vendor pre-event, during the event, and post-event.
• Collaborate and communicate with planning team; attend meetings needed to implement, coordinate, and help manage aspects of the event.
• Communicate with venue teams and work closely with them to ensure implementation.
• Communicate with event participants and conduct pre-event rehearsals.
• Knowledgeable of branding, marketing, and promotional communications.
• Participate in moving auction items from AIN to event venue and return of items to AIN.
• Coordinate and participate in set-up and break-down of event.
• Knowledgeable of ticket sales, table seating, and help resolve any issues the night of the event.
• Participate in multiple aspects of the event on the night of the event.
• Conduct follow-up activities during the post-event period.
• Undertake other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
