Reporting to the Chief Philanthropic Officer (CPO) and working in close cooperation with the senior leadership of Nexus Recovery Center, strategically drives operational, financial, and analytical needs for all fundraising campaigns and programs on behalf of the Development team.

Must have a minimum of 5 years fundraising management experience for consideration.

This key position will manage all development operational functions, including donor relations, tools and systems, prospect research, donor analytics & gift processing, and special events.

The Director of Development Operations is responsible for supporting and enabling all fundraising campaigns and programs from an operational perspective in an effort to support fundraising revenue, constituent stewardship, and donor retention goals for the organization.

Works closely with the CFO and CPO to oversee the budgeting process on behalf of the Development team to ensure organizational efficiency and strategic goals are accomplished.

Reviews existing campaigns and programs to ensure cost efficiency, evaluate return on investment, and create a 360-degree view of all development programs which the team can use for ongoing monitoring. Develop and execute role and responsibilities against an annual operating plan and capital budget.
