Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County (UGM-TC) has an immediate opening for a Director of Facilities Management. The Director of Facilities Management is responsible for the maintenance, repairs, preventative maintenance routines and code compliance requirements for UGM-TC’s nine (9) acre campus. The Director of Facilities Management coordinates, oversees and personally conducts the maintenance of campus grounds, plumbing, indoor/outdoor lighting, facilities repairs, physical safety, equipment/material inventory and cleanliness and adheres to all applicable governing codes and regulatory requirements. Investigates, evaluates, and identifies best practices relating to capital improvements and business operations. Ensures continuity of IT services as well as safety and security, vendor management, landscape management, janitorial and waste services, permits and inspections. Maintains inventory control on all maintenance supplies and equipment. Manage vendor contracts and relations to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled. Identify and manage facilities risk, including review of IT systems, budget variances, and ensuring compliance with safety and security practices. Submit metrics maintenance report (i.e. completed, in progress and incomplete, projected status) and projected capital expense weekly, monthly, annually, or as requested. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
Qualified candidates will have an Operations, IT, or Facilities degree or certification. Three-five years’ experience Two years higher level facility management and business operations experience required. Must be a person who is comfortable and capable of investigating, evaluating and identifying best practices relating to capital improvements and business operations with better than average customer service skills and experience. Fluent use of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products, including Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required. Ability to learn and use any other software programs needed.
