Description

Center for Transforming Lives is currently seeking a full-time Director for Clinical Counseling. The Director for Clinical Counseling works in collaboration with the Chief Program Officer to deepen and develop evidence-based, trauma informed programming aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic plan. This dynamic leader will develop, plan, and implement strategies for department continuation and growth, while also providing clinical supervision to therapists, direct services to adults and children, and crisis intervention for program participants.

Clinical modalities in practice include but are not limited to

  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

This position oversees and coordinates day-to-day operations of the clinical department, including supervising personnel. This role is key for Multidisciplinary Treatment Team Meetings (MDT), consulting with program staff on implementation of trauma informed specific interventions, crisis management, and service planning and monitoring.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

Qualified candidates will hold a minimum of a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college with a clinical focus, with an independent license, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC. Additionally, candidates will have a minimum of five years of post-master’s clinical experience with children and families.

Knowledge and experience with compliance and government funding streams, managing data, departmental oversight and supervision, budgeting and planning is required.
