Frisco Family Services seeks an experienced Development Director with proven success to lead, plan, and administer comprehensive fundraising initiatives to support agency mission and budgetary goals.  The Development Director will be responsible for leading agency fundraising efforts which include foundation and corporate support, grant writing, annual campaign, and newly established endowment in coordination and collaboration with the Executive Director and Board of Directors.  The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating, building, and sustaining relationships with current and prospective donors to generate annual support and will play a significant role in personal cultivation and donor solicitation.  Qualified candidates will have a proven ability to create effective high quality funding proposals, demonstrated success in building and maintaining strategic relationships, proven track record of soliciting, closing, and stewarding major gifts of $10,000 or more, extraordinary interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, ability and interest in initiating conversations and relationships with individuals you may or may not know, be comfortable engaging with senior level executives and high net worth individuals at events as well as smaller settings.  Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of fundraising experience, preferably in Collin County, demonstrated leadership and 3-5 years of supervisory experience, excellent interpersonal (written and verbal) communication skills, exemplary computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor databases.  Ideal candidates will have the ability to successfully manage multiple projects, have strong analytical skills, be a strategic thinker, creative and detail oriented.
