Description

Dallas CASA, a non-profit dedicated to protecting children and restoring childhood for child victims of abuse and neglect, seeks a Chief Financial Officer who will oversee and perform duties related to financial management, office administration, facilities maintenance, government grant application, reporting and compliance, and volunteer, board, and staff credentialing, including completing background check requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing the finance function to ensure all financial accounting and reporting is complete, timely, and in accordance with GAAP and Dallas CASA Financial Policies. Duties include developing, maintaining, and reporting related to annual budgets, overseeing annual financial audit, Single Audit, and 990 preparations, serving as liaison to the board Finance Committee and the Dallas CASA Endowment Fund board, negotiating agency-related insurance, maintaining banking and investment firm relationships, and monitoring daily cash and investment balances. Duties also include negotiation of contracts and monitoring of vendor performance for office services, building and outside maintenance, and information technology. Direct reports include the Facilities Manager, Manager, Accounting and Assurance, Volunteer Data Specialist, and Grant Compliance and Analytics Manager. This position is eligible for Dallas CASA’s remote work arrangement, which requires a minimum of 16 hours of work at the building each week.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, a minimum of 10 years of related experience, knowledge of and experience applying GAAP, and a CPA license. Proficiency in Blackbaud Financial Edge is preferred.
