Chief Executive Officer

ORGANIZATION:

Arlington Pregnancy Center, Inc. dba Metroplex Women’s Clinic (MWC), is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt pregnancy center ministry founded in 1984. The mission of Metroplex Women’s Clinic is to Equip, Educate and Empower every client. Our goal is to provide no-cost convenient and confidential services. The Clinic provides specialized medical services, education, and consultations to roughly 5,000 clients a year. Each woman who enters the clinic meets with a Registered Nurse and leaves the clinic with the help they need to make an informed choice. The clinic has three locations in Arlington, TX. MWC also has three resale stores to help meet the physical needs of clients, assist the community, and help finance their work (Arlington Resale, Arlington Resale Too, and Arlington Resale3).

POSITION:

The Metroplex Women’s Clinic is seeking a passionate and accomplished senior professional to serve as its Chief Executive Officer. The CEO will demonstrate a passion for the mission and infuse hope and encourage decisions for life and for Christ. The CEO will provide leadership to the women’s clinic through strategic plans to advance and protect the mission; promote revenue, profitability, and overall growth of the organization; to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, quality assurance, and cost-effective management of resources. The CEO is responsible for three clinic locations, and three resale stores with an approximate budget of $1,800,000, thirty-seven employees, and approximately 110 volunteers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Report to the Board of Directors:

Embrace a collaborative and compassionate leadership style that empowers employees and volunteers and encourages innovation, teamwork, trust, respect, and open communication.

Work with the Board of Directors to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. Create a culture of partnership between the board based on trust and respect.

Promote an organizational culture that fosters commitment to the mission, professionalism, and a passion to offer Christ-like love in a compassionate and responsive manner.

Establish strategies to cultivate new and existing donors.  Strengthen and diversify funding sources.  Cultivate strong relationships with key donors, namely individuals, foundations, churches and corporations.

As Chief spokesperson, enhance the Center’s public image by being active and visible in the community and by working and communicating effectively with local churches and other professional, civic and private organizations; be the public face of the organization in the community.

Manage all aspects of financial management including budget preparation, timely/accurate reporting and ensure a strong positive financial position for the Center.

Ensure programmatic excellence for both ongoing programs and those in development.

Ensure Information Technology systems are fully functioning and up-to-date, including website and other communications tools.

Ensure compliance with all legal regulations, organizational policies, and adherence to industry best practices.

Ensure adequate facility maintenance, both internally and externally, at all locations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of senior leadership experience and must be a committed Christian. In addition, a proven track record in fundraising is imperative.
