The Dallas Symphony Association (DSA) has an exciting full-time opportunity available for a professional with Advancement support experience as an Advancement Operations Coordinator. The primary functions of this role are to support the DSA Advancement & Revenue department in gift processing for all gifts that are contributed to the DSA and Dallas Symphony Foundation (DSF), and to process and coordinate gift acknowledgments.
Specific responsibilities include processing all gifts that are contributed to the DSA and DSF, including Auxiliary; working with the Director of Analytics and Manager of Advancement Operations & Analytics to ensure that gift processing is efficient and accurate; processing and/or coordinating email and letter acknowledgments in a timely manner for all gifts received; maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor files, both electronic and printed; updating contact information for donors as requested; and assisting the Advancement Operations & Analytics team with other data entry and Tessitura constituent updates.
Qualifications include an Associate’s degree or two years of applicable experience, and strong MS Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel. Knowledge of Tessitura is a plus. The successful candidate will be a team player who can work with the needs of multiple constituencies to meet deadlines and business objectives while prioritizing among tasks. Discretion, judgment, very good verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are all essential to meeting expectations in this role.
