Acquisition to Planned Giving

In this session, we will look at the art and science of how donors connect to an organization initially and why they stay. From acquiring a donor to securing a planned gift, the steps of the donor life cycle are something every fundraiser should be familiar with.

Learning Objectives:

  • Name the activities with each of the donor phases.
  • Describe current best practices in fundraising for each phase.
  • Develop a proforma for each fundraising activity to provide direct and indirect expenses for fundraising efforts.
