POETIC builds a pipeline out of the juvenile justice system and into intensive aftercare for girls who have experienced child maltreatment, commercial sexual exploitation and sex trafficking. By putting a school, 24/7 access to therapy and support, creative arts therapy, and paid internships all under one roof, POETIC equips girls to find their voices, reclaim their narratives and persist forward. POETIC is igniting a movement to reject the notion that youth can be bought and sold. We imagine a world where all children are equally valued.
