The mission of Brighter Tomorrows is to empower victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by providing emergency safe shelter, transitional housing, support services, and partnering with stakeholders to raise awareness of domestic violence in our community.
Serving the communities of Grand Prairie, Irving, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville and Lancaster in the Best Southwest area of Dallas County, Brighter Tomorrows is a 501c3 nonprofit organization providing shelter and assistance to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Conservative estimates indicate that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been victims of some form of physical or sexual violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime. In response to the epidemic of family violence, Brighter Tomorrows was established in 1989. In providing a haven for survivors of abuse and their children, we work to break the cycle of violence.
