Our Community Our Kids (OCOK), a division of ACH Child and Family Services, has provided a continuum of services for children in the Texas foster care system of Region 3b since 2014. As a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, OCOK is contracted with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) as a Single Source Continuum Contractor (SSCC) to expand Community-Based Care (CBC) in the Region, which includes Cooke, Denton, Erath, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise counties.

OCOK is a lead agency overseeing a network of subcontractors and is legally authorized to operate as the lead agency for this contract.

Community-Based Care(CBC) is a new way of providing foster care services which gives local communities the flexibility and authority to improve the system.
