Position Summary:
This is a full-time position to lead and manage the Community Services department, which includes, but is not limited to, community transportation, campus facilities, community services, and community outreach.

Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the budget for Facilities, Transportation, Community Development, and Opportunity Center
- Reconcile purchases and expenditures at the end of each month for the Community Services department.
- Manage the schedules of all Community Services staff members.
- Oversee the Transportation program, vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
- Manage the Community Center campus, which includes, but is not limited to, maintenance, security, custodial services, and all community events.
- Oversee community outreach initiatives by directly supervising and managing the Community Services Associate and Coordinator.
- Create, develop, and oversee a long-term strategy to individually help residents with government benefits, enrolling into career pathway program with Dallas College, finding jobs, financial coaching, etc. alongside the Social Services Coordinator.
- Engage the community residents at the corner stores, community churches, barber shops, Bonton Market, residents’ homes, and Rochester Park alongside the Community Services Associate and Coordinator.
- Recruit residents into BridgeBuilders’ programming.
- Strategically lead ways to engage the entire communities of Bonton and Ideal through programs like JOY, Crossover Men, Bonton Neighborhood Association, Adopt-A-Block, 100 Homes, and South Dallas Community Market.
- Research and develop relationships with area non-profits and South Dallas churches discovering their theology and outreach to the local community.
- Research and develop relationships with City of Dallas departments and employees.
- Maintain data in NEON on residents as the Community Outreach team meets and develops relationships.
- Provide weekly reports to Executive Director on all Community Services programming.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Agree with the belief statement of BridgeBuilders and maintain a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bi-lingual preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Able to be highly relational with a strong level of discernment and possess a keen ability to engage individuals in lower socio-economic urban neighborhoods with a compassionate spirit
- Experience utilizing this broad skill set across a wide range of relationships, cultures and environments
- Intermediate to advanced user of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
-  Must be able to lift, push, pull or maneuver up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Executive Director
Direct Supervision of: Social Services Coordinator, Community Services Associate, Community Services Coordinator, Community Receptionist
