VICE PRESIDENT OF DEVELOPMENT
Overview:
The Vice President of Development reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for all areas of fundraising of the organization, including special events, grant solicitation and the identification, solicitation and cultivation of individual and corporate gifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree preferred
- Proven record of fundraising success
- Minimum 3 years experience in non-profit fundraising

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive written plan for long-range and short-range fundraising activities
- Growth of overall revenue for the organization
- Develop annual fundraising calendar
- Oversee grant process, including research, submission and reporting; and write grants as needed
- Expand base of individual donors through cultivation and personal solicitation activities
- Develop and manage donor recognition and stewardship program
- Work closely with the Development Committee to ensure the Board of Directors is informed and engaged in fundraising plans
- Oversee all activities related to special events
- Plan and manage direct mail appeals to members and prospects
- Provide direct supervision for departmental staff members
- Maintain records of all contributions, both cash and in-kind
- Oversee, update and maintain donor database
- Prepare and manage departmental budget
- Assist in development of CACCC strategic plan and budget
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County seeks a dynamic leader as Vice President of Development. The mission of the Center is to provide safety, healing, and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Vice President of Development is responsible for revenue growth for the Center, and all facets of fundraising for the organization, including: development of short and long range fundraising plans; coordination of special events and grant solicitation; and donor prospect identification, cultivation and stewardship. Supervises development staff of six. Minimum 3 years development experience and proven track record of fundraising success required. Position requires strong leadership and management skills and the ability to function well in a teamwork environment.
