Human Resources Generalist – UpSpire  

Presbyterian Night Shelter is known for serving the homeless in greatest need: those who have no other places to go.  Those who present the greatest challenge to our community are welcome here.  As the largest homeless shelter in Tarrant County, we serve approximately 1,000 men, women and children each night.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Generalist – UpSpire is responsible for performing human resource related duties on a professional level for the UpSpire program while working closely with the Vice President of Human Resources.  The Human Resources Generalist – UpSpire carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and employment law compliance. The Human Resources Generalist must maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or minimum of five years in the human resources field.

A minimum of three years administrative experience.

Must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.

Experience with the homeless population preferred.

Must have valid driver license and proof of liability insurance.

Rate of Pay

$45,000 Annually
