EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & BOARD LIAISON

Center for Transforming Lives is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant and Board Liaison.  The Executive Assistant and Board Liaison has primary responsibility for direct administrative support to the CEO, as well as board and committee support for the Center for Transforming Lives and the Foundation for the Center for Transforming Lives.  Additional responsibilities include providing electronic and physical copy record management for CEO and board functions, scheduling and meeting support for the CEO and board, and other administrative responsibilities as directed by the CEO.  Provides operational and supervisory oversight for reception and office functions.

Ideal candidates are experienced in the world of nonprofit governance, including boards of directors, and the demands of an executive office.  They should enjoy creating organization in the physical and electronic environment. Candidates should be eager to improve or build office practices in this growing nonprofit.  They should also be adaptive to change and willing to develop solutions to problems.  A successful individual will embrace technological solutions to operational challenges.  To be considered, candidates should have:

  • A minimum of 60 hours of college;
  • A minimum of three years in administrative or similar positions
  • Strong attention management skills and organizational abilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Technical skills with Microsoft Office products and SharePoint;
  • High degree of trustworthiness, efficiency and confidence.
