Position Summary:

This high-energy, external role directs The Family Place’s corporate strategy, including the largest signature fundraiser: Partners Card. This 30+ year-old shopping program raises more than $1.2M+ annually through retail partnerships, sponsorships, and individual card sales. This position also focuses on year-round corporate partnerships that support The Family Place’s revenue, volunteer, and in-kind needs. The ideal candidate has worked in corporate engagement or retail partnerships, and has experience with public relations, marketing, and special events. This position reports to the CDO and will work closely with organizational leadership including the Executive Team, Board and external agency partners to expand the brand of The Family Place with corporate and retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow and expand the Partners Card program including the following elements:
    • Build and maintain retail partner relations and solicitations
    • Identify sponsors, solicitation and stewardship
    • Cultivate relationships with Community Sellers identification, solicitation and stewardship
    • Manage Partners Card events from concept to completion
    • Lead and manage the development of collateral material, print production, digital tool kit
    • Coordinate advertising deadlines
    • Develop and implement communications, social media, and marketing plans to support Partners Card in partnership with public relations agency, internal special events leader, and development team.
  • Other duties related to Partners Card:
    • Manage correspondence and applications with 750+ participating retailers.
    • Lead Partners Card planning meetings and provide meeting minutes, maintain Partners Card records, notebooks, and files for special projects.
    • Respond to general requests for Partners Card information.
    • Oversee website and database support for Partners Card

Other Duties:

  • Develop and maintain corporate partnerships/relationships on behalf of The Family Place.
  • Collaborate with Development Team on Corporate Events strategy, ensuring all relationships are focused on
  • Perform other job-related duties at the request of Development Team leaders and CEO.
