Building a Culture of Philanthropy in Your Organization
June 30, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
A culture of philanthropy is an organizational culture where everyone in an organization understands the importance of philanthropy and has a role in encouraging it. This session will help you assess your organization’s culture of philanthropy and find ways to increase it throughout the organization.

- Understand “textbook” definitions of a culture of philanthropy and how they apply to your organization, given its size
- Discover how accounting, program/direct service, volunteers, and your leadership can help strengthen philanthropic support for the mission and how the development officer can engage them all in their work
- Identify steps you can take to help encourage a culture of philanthropy in your organization.
