Job purpose

The Regional Program Manager reports to the Director, Traditional Programming. This role will lead a team of Site Coordinators responsible for direct implementation of the CIS Integrated Student Support model at their designated schools. The Regional Program Manager serves as an ambassador for Communities in Schools of the Dallas Region establishing and maintaining positive and constructive relationships between CISDR, the Site Coordinators, and the school communities. The Regional Program Manager will lead by example and demonstrate how to best implement and support the CISDR Integrated Student Support model to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
Duties and responsibilities

Staff Management & Development

• Lead, coach, and train a team of Site Coordinators in the implementation of Communities In Schools of the Dallas Region services within a designated region
• Foster an environment of trust, collaboration, and comradery with each Site Coordinator team
• Conduct real-time and onsite training to ensure consistent and successful delivery of CISDR model
• Provide real-time coaching and conduct annual performance reviews for team of Site Coordinators
• Work with Director, Traditional Programming and Human Resources to address performance or other issues as they arise within the team
• Actively participate in the hiring process through coordinated candidate screening with HR and conducting candidate interviews
• Collaborate with Site Coordinators to create plans and methodology to meet established benchmarking goals including executing recruitment strategies, weekly and monthly activities for case managed students, small groups, and school-wide initiatives
• Guide and coach Site Coordinators to address issues that arise with students and/or the school community
• Conduct monthly team meetings focused on staff development and support providing leadership, organizational guidance, and learning opportunities in the areas of student recruitment, curriculum, conflict management, parent engagement, student support, communication skills, leadership development, relationship building, and all areas integral to site coordinator success on campus
• Help to identify and coordinate community and CISDR resources to support Site Coordinators and case managed students
• Manage campus staffing to ensure coverage on campuses when Site Coordinators are on leave or out for an extended period
• Conduct monthly site visits at each campus to meet with Site Coordinator to understand how the CISDR model is working at that school from their perspective, review current progress toward goals, program successes, any areas for development or assistance
• Attend at least one home visit with each Site Coordinator in the region to provide training and support during home visits
• Stay updated on CIS National, Regional, and local training opportunities for staff

Strategic Collaboration

• Collaborate with Site Coordinators, Data Team, and Director, Traditional Programming to set case management goals at each campus and measure progress toward those goals
• Strategize with Director, Traditional Programming and Regional Program Manager team to create consistency throughout the districts around core program areas, policies and procedures
• Advocate for CISDR and Site Coordinators on each campus to promote the benefits of the CISDR program in each school and identify additional program opportunities within the school and district communities
• Cultivate relationships with the administration at each school and meet at least monthly with the principal at each assigned campus to discuss the progress and needs for successful CISDR programming at each campus from their perspective
• Become proficient in the use and understanding of Salesforce and other CISDR systems to be a subject matter expert to support your Site Coordinator teams
• Partner across all CISDR departments to champion internal programs, initiatives and compliance requirements to create greater efficiencies in Program reporting, documentation, Family Engagement opportunities, compliance and all services
• Understand the dynamics of each campus and collaborate with Site Coordinators and school leadership to create environment that will allow the CISDR model to provide the best possible student support
• Identify staff training and resource needs and work cross-functionally with other departments to generate needed support
• Participate in district check in meetings with Director, Traditional Programming and School Relationship Manager
• Actively participate in bi-weekly Regional Program Manager team meetings including presenting relevant topics and information sharing with the team
• Effectively and professionally advocate for CISDR and Site Coordinators on campus to ensure that school leadership understands the role of the Site Coordinator on their campus and that Site Coordinators have the district resources they need to fully implement the CISDR model and support their students
• Serve as the face of CISDR within the district and school communities and represent CISDR values and expectations at all times internally and externally

Reporting and Compliance

• Consistently and proactively monitor Salesforce and other data reports to ensure case management numbers are met including services provided to students and families and on-site group programming for all campuses
• Regularly review processes and suggest policy updates/recommendations to the Director, Traditional Programming and Regional Program Manager team
• Champion and ensure adherence to CISDR mission and values, policies and processes
• Approve all timesheets, time off requests, mileage, and expenses for Site Coordinator team

Budgeting & Revenue Generation

• Design and manage campus budgets with each Site Coordinators and coordinate those needs with the Director, Traditional Programming for full department budget
• Supervise campus-based expenses ensuring proper use of campus funds and accurate accounting with the CISDR PEX system.
• Participate in development and fundraising activities including site visits, donor events, and golf tournament

Marketing and Communications

• Coordinate efforts with the Advancement Team and Site Coordinators to support the program promotion and visibility ensuring staff are contributing to the campus-based updates, events, and social media
• Maintain regular communication with CISDR partners, schools and district staff to build and support a stronger program maximizing CISDR enrollment for services
• Participate in community and CISDR events to support fundraising efforts and community awareness including volunteering at school/district events, site visits, fundraising events, and district and donor meetings as requested

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business, Education, Human Services or related field • At least 5 years of case management experience with CIS preferably, but other relevant experience will be considered • Demonstrated ability to build and coach a team of individual business unit leaders. • Experience in Early Childhood Education, Education, juvenile justice, social services, medical case management or related fields preferred

Licenses and Certifications

None required but LMSW, LCSW, or teaching certification preferred

• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures including all applicable HIPAA and FERPA requirements
• Knowledge of supervisory and managerial techniques and methods

• Ability to effectively prioritize competing needs and demonstrate sound judgement and decision-making
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with school administration, CISDR employees and the general public
• Ability to cultivate and professionally grow CISDR Site Coordinators.
• Ability to articulate and present on a wide range of topics relating to the work of CISDR programs to internal and external stakeholders

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

● Ability to lift, carry and otherwise move up to 15 pounds on a regular basis.
● Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, or walk for various lengths of time throughout the day.
● Ability to utilize computer, software, and general office equipment to complete daily work responsibilities.
● Inside work in an office environment with no exposure to weather conditions.
● Reliable transportation is a must to travel for meetings, agency trainings and other miscellaneous work assignments within any CISDR supported districts
