Description
Summary:
Assists with both government and private grant reporting and data collection. Assist with internal and external compliance monitoring.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
In accordance with the team philosophy of the agency, may routinely be required to carry out or assist with other tasks in addition to the duties listed above.
Must act in accordance with the agency’s mission statement and goals.
- Prepare complete and accurate government and private grant program reports for victim service programs. Including ad hoc reports
- Adhere to strict reporting deadlines both internal and external
- Identifies gaps in data collection and make recommendations
- Assist with internal monitoring of agency victim services programs utilizing a monitoring tool
- Assist with managing archived files, record retrieval, and coordination of the annual document destruction event
- Assist with request for records or service verification letters and ensure timely processing
- Assist with preparation of audit documents to include redacting of personal identifying information for victims served
- May gather appropriate materials or data needed for grant submissions
- Maintain government grant files to ensure a complete contract file that includes the request for proposal, submitted application, executed contract, reports, and closeout documentation, when applicable
- Attend trainings, webinars, and meetings to ensure grant compliance
- Demonstrates working knowledge of computer, Internet and e-mail applications
- Demonstrates have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Acrobat
Qualifications
- Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma, college degree preferred
- Two year's experience with statistical data, program reports and/or grants required
- At least two years of related work experience in a professional setting
- Computer skills and Internet skills required. Proficiency with spreadsheet software (Excel) required
- Must be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and stay focused on assigned tasks and meet deadlines
- Must possess good time management skills
- Strong communication skills with the demonstrated ability to use diplomacy and tact when communicating with all stakeholders
- Ability to write reports and business correspondences
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from program staff, management team members as requested
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends
- Sensitivity to the issue of domestic violence
- Current Texas Driver’s license and proof of auto liability insurance required
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand, reach, and walk frequently
- Frequent prolonged sitting and telephone contact
- Occasional local travel by personal automobile

- 3.08 hours per pay period in first year (approximately 10 days), increases to 5.54 hours per pay period after 1st year (approximately 18 days)
