Grants Seminars
Grants: Finding the Right Fit
will focus on finding grant opportunities and identifying possible funding sources. We will also talk about the process of getting your organization ready to see grant funding and clarifying the projects that grantmakers might fund. This session will end with the creation of a development calendar to help you plan your grant projects from start to finish.
Grants: Project Design & Proposals
will allow participants to understand the importance of project goals and outcomes. This course will help you recognize the key components of a competitive proposal, how to create a compelling proposal, and learn how to prepare and submit proposals. This session will also address common proposal strengths and weaknesses as well as next steps whether your proposal is funded or declined.

Software Savvy
Join us to learn how to use and manage software tools effectively, improving productivity and efficiency. Participants will experience hands-on practice in Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams) and may sign up for a beginner or intermediate skill level classes – or both!

Workshop Design
- A half-day, in-person, training session for two executive-level or board representatives from each organization. The training session will cover the leadership continuity planning process
and templates for developing an effective plan. - Each organization will independently develop its leadership continuity plan using the templates provided and referencing the training material.
- Following the workshop, CNM will conduct a one-hour consultation with each organization to provide feedback about their plan.
- CNM will conduct a follow-up session with each organization if needed, to review any plan revisions discussed and to provide additional feedback.
