Reporting to the Senior Development Officer, Annual Giving and Operations, the Donor Data and Analytics Associate will be the lead position responsible for ensuring gift and donor data quality, policies, procedures; managing and developing fundraising reports; and ultimately ensuring effective fundraising practices at the SPCA of Texas.

Successful people in this role will be collaborative, have a growth mindset, demonstrate integrity in all communications and interactions, and able to balance both strategic thinking and technical knowledge for the SPCA of Texas. Candidates should have demonstrated database experience. They should have strong internal and external communication skills, and feel comfortable communicating complex data in a clear and focused manner.

Essential duties and responsibilities

•    Ensure data integrity by inputting information accurately into the database.

•    Work with the Gift Processing Coordinator to ensure all gift records (online, lockboxes, credit cards, checks) are properly recorded in Raiser’s Edge

•    Manages tracking of memberships (VP, Circle, Legacy, Board, Emeritus), event attendance, volunteer engagement and donor attributes to ensure that records are updated regularly. Identifying and creating new opportunities for donor attributes.

•    Oversees and implements regular processes related to the CRM, providing insight and innovation where needed.

•    Perform regular audits to identify and correct any discrepancies within the database.

•    Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information.

•    Confirm all corporate and foundation matching gifts, manage all employee giving campaign downloads and ensure records are kept updated

•    Update donor records from lock boxes, returned mail, and donor surveys

•    Collaborate with Gift Officers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of routine call reports, gift acknowledgements, solicitation and cultivation mailings and event invitations

•    Create and update custom reports as requested

•    Conduct research on prospects as requested by other staff members, to include wealth capacity rating, giving history, and SPCA of Texas involvement and create donor profile documents for Gift Officers

•    Assist the development team on special projects and events as they are identified

•    Other duties as assigned
