Frisco Family Services (FFS) is growing and seeks an experienced Development Officer to add to our team! Reporting to the Development Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of major fundraising campaigns, both digital and direct mail. The Development Officer will solicit, cultivate, and steward a fluctuating pipeline of mid-level donors, and source and complete grant proposals to support agency’s mission and budgetary goals. The Development Officer serves as the agency’s donor database administrator, ensuring that the donor management system is responsive to Department and agency needs. The Development Officer shares in the strategic long-term vision of the agency and contributes to revenue growth of the agency, helping to bring innovation, efficiency, and increased revenue to the agency.
Qualified candidates will have a proven ability to create effective high-quality campaigns and have demonstrated experience in successfully soliciting, engaging and stewarding a portfolio of mid-level donors, success in using donor management systems for reporting, tracking, and managing fundraising activities, and have grant writing experience including pipeline management, research, tracking, and providing on time outcomes. Successful candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability and interest in initiating conversations and relationships with individuals you may or may not know. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of fundraising experience, preferably in Collin County, demonstrated leadership and 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred, exemplary computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor databases. Ideal candidates will have the ability to successfully manage multiple projects, have strong analytical skills, be a strategic thinker, creative and detail oriented.
