About the school

Cristo Rey Fort Worth College Prep (CRFW) is a Catholic learning community for grades 9-12 that educates young people of limited economic means to become men and women of faith, purpose and service. Through a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, integrated with a relevant work study experience, students graduate ready to succeed in college and in life.

CRFW is part of the largest network of high schools in the country that exclusively serve low-income youth. The Cristo Rey Network empowers thousands of students from underserved low-income communities to develop their minds and hearts to become lifelong contributors to society.

By providing students this life-changing opportunity, we seek to transform urban America and support students to and through college. Graduates of Cristo Rey schools are enrolling in and completing college at twice the rate of low-income high school graduates. Opened in 2018, Cristo Rey Fort Worth is now at work making outsized impacts in our Tarrant County community, diminishing equity gaps in education, and preparing students for long-term success.
