Description
Provides financial and administrative support to the Senior Pastor, office staff, Board of Directors and congregation at Celebration Community Church in Fort Worth.
Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of five (5) years of experience.
Job Requirements
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Ability to self-initiate projects and work with minimal supervision.
- Strong QuickBooks, Excel, Word and Outlook skill set.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and business insight.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all matters.
- Ability to adjust work schedule when necessary.
Job Duties
- Prepare, manage and maintain all financial information and records, reporting and questions; including all deposits, payments, banking and reconciliations, payroll and taxes
- Budget preparation and adherence to budget through monthly analyses
- Manage relationships with vendors including banking, insurance, etc.
- Provide financial support for all fundraisers and activities where required
- Order supplies
- Attendance at Staff and Board meetings
- Provide and maintain documents for Board meetings
- Review, update and/or create policies and processes as necessary
- Assist with handling incoming/outgoing phone calls, mail and packages
