Description

Do you want to contribute your skills and expertise to an organization that helps women before, during, and after a heartbreaking miscarriage? Do you also want to help children to cope after they lose their sibling due to a miscarriage? If one or both statements apply to you, I am seeking caring and dedicated volunteer board members.

Purpose:
I am in the process of starting my nonprofit that will be named “Hope’s Legacy Grief Support”. I plan to serve women (single, in a relationship, or married) and children that have been impacted by a miscarriage. I have created a kit that will be donated to hospitals so those kits can be provided to women that have experienced a miscarriage. The kit will include items that can help women to cope, heal, and more before, during, and after their miscarriage. In the near future, I plan to create a kit for children to help them to understand and process the loss of their sibling. Even if a child was born sleeping or only survives for a few hours or days after birth, their lives mattered. The kit that I want to donate is just a small way to help cherish the memory of the child that is/was gone too soon.

Mission:
To provide compassionate support to women who have experienced a miscarriage and their children that are also impacted by the loss. Empowering them to find healing, feel less alone, find hope, and navigate the emotional and practical challenges associated with a miscarriage.
