The focus of this course is to give confidence to anyone who deals with a variety of HR issues in the workplace. We’ll cover the basic employment laws without the legal jargon, explore best practices in the employee life cycle, and find resources for those more difficult situations. This three-day program is highly engaging and interactive through activities, case studies, and discussions to help you problem-solve through your organization’s employee drama.

Meet your instructor
Danyelle Williams Ackall, Ph.D., SPHR
Danyelle is the Chief Employment Consultant and an instructor at TCU Neeley School of Business. For the past 13 years, Danyelle has specialized in employment consulting focused on employee relations, management training, and compliance. Her overall 20 years of Human Resource experience has given her a passion for assisting small organizations with their HR needs.
Danyelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science Degree from UT Arlington, and a Doctorate of Philosophy from TCU. In 2001, she earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) followed by the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation. She didn’t stop there as in 2015, she passed the Society of Human Resource Management- Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and in 2017 became a certified mediator in Texas.
