As the Vice President of Development, Heather supports both CNM and local nonprofits in achieving their marketing, communications, and fundraising goals. She has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and marketing. Heather has led and worked for organizations of all sizes and a variety of mission spaces.

Prior to joining CNM, Heather served as VP of Development at Lionheart Children’s Academy and Camp Skylark. Previously, she worked as the Executive Director for HopeKids North Texas before moving to a national communications role to support all chapters in their fundraising efforts. Her early experience includes fundraising event management, grant writing for an NGO in Thailand, and overseeing community services and marketing for Atlantic Housing Foundation, an affordable housing provider operating 35 multi-family properties in six states. Heather earned a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma.
