TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND aims to entertain, educate, and inspire by curating and commissioning extraordinary dance and performance art from around the world. Itis the preeminent dance presenter in the North Texas region and one of only a handful of presenting organizations in the nation dedicated exclusively to dance. For 40+ years, it has been a vital leader and advocate for the arts, presenting over625 live performances (185 Dallas debuts) by the most intriguing and influential artists across 42+ countries and solidifying its reputation for artistic excellence, innovation, and cultural diversity. TITAS has been pivotal in elevating Dallas’ reputation as a “must-do” cultural destination for U.S.-based and international performing artists and companies.

Programs

Dance Performance Series. The annual TITAS season includes performances by ten of the most diverse and compelling American and international dance companies.

Command Performance + Gala. Each year, the dance world’s best and brightest stars light up the stage at the Winspear Opera House for one night only at TITAS’ Command Performance + Gala.

Santos Salon Series. The Santos Salon Series features in-depth conversations with the artists and innovators presented throughout the season.

TITAS Master Classes. Taught by top international and national artists in conjunction with the TITAS performance season, TITAS Master Classes creates pathways to post-secondary and professional dance opportunities for aspiring young artists.

Dance for PD. TITAS partners each year with this research-based program that offers dance and movement classes for individuals with Parkinson's disease.

In addition to these programs, TITAS offers post-performance talkbacks with the audience, special student matinee performances, dance educator professional development, and other unique and engaging educational opportunities.
