Dallas CASA, a non-profit agency that recruits and trains volunteers who advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children, seeks a Volunteer Recruitment and Outreach Manager.  Responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive volunteer advocate recruitment program.  The Manager will participate in outreach events and volunteer fairs, speak to groups and organizations and conduct information sessions about becoming a Dallas CASA volunteer advocate for abused and neglected children, and work on various outreach initiatives with stakeholders and supporters. The Manager will screen, track, interview and make recommendations regarding potential volunteers. Cultivating and fostering relationships with potential volunteers is a key component of the job. Additionally, this position will manage administrative needs, scheduling and logistics for the department, and supervise a Volunteer Coordinator who responds to all volunteer inquiries, engages volunteer candidates, manages database information and processes potential candidates through the application process. Ideal candidates will be experienced in various recruitment methods and public speaking.  Forensic interviewing or related skills preferred but not required. Superior written and oral communication and organizational skills required.  Minimum three years related experience and bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.  Please email resume and salary requirements to Amber Farris at afarris@dallascasa.org.
