Vice President for Philanthropy

Reports to: President and CEO

Summary: The Vice President for Philanthropy will be responsible for continually seeking to increase the number of donors and prospects by working with volunteers, businesses, and other organizations to identify new prospects and to cultivate them for gifts. The Vice President for Philanthropy will be the bridge from contact (including Volunteers) to prospect to donor.

The Vice President for Philanthropy will be responsible for:

Continually interacting with volunteers and businesses to encourage participation and learn of their interests and passions
Designing, scheduling, and managing an annual campaign as a stand-alone event or as part of a larger opportunity such as North Texas Giving Day
Coordinating social media to keep the general public, donors and prospects up to date and informed of all activities and events
Creating, cultivating, and managing a large portfolio of prospects with intent to move them to major donors
Determining the scope of the invitation lists for special events and will manage the details of the actual event

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 (three) years of proven fundraising. Excellent communication skills and proficiency working with Microsoft office.
