Training/Events Coordinator (full time, contract to hire)

About us:

The Child Protection Connection®, d/b/a Texas Lawyers for Children, is a nonprofit organization that champions the rights of abused and neglected children in the courts, the community, and the legislature. We connect, equip, and mobilize judges, attorneys, and other professionals involved in a child's court case to protect children from being harmed by the systems meant to keep them safe. Much of our work is done through an innovative online center (the Texas Lawyers for Children Online Center).

We are looking for a talented individual to coordinate two training initiatives. The first will educate judges and attorneys on the effects of trauma on abused and neglected children, and the second recruits and trains pro bono attorneys to meet the educational needs of children in foster care. You would also be responsible for coordinating several awareness/fundraising events we host in Dallas each year to engage the community and raise funds to support our mission.

We believe every abused or neglected child has the right to the most effective legal representation possible. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping abused & neglected children.
