SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL LEARNING (SEL) LEADERSHIP COACH POSITION

The Organization: Clayton Youth Enrichment was founded in 1975 to serve the youth of Tarrant County with afterschool and youth enrichment programs. We operate over 80 out of school time programs in districts across the greater Fort Worth area and a full-day preschool program. We have adopted a new and exciting platform, to empower the youth of Tarrant County by offering opportunities for them to build strong social and emotional skills through our daily activities and relationships.
The Position: The primary role of the SEL Leadership Coach is to support and train adult leadership in cultural and environmental practices that foster the healthy social and emotional development of our overall workforce. The coach will work with our Program and Quality Team to create and design training, coaching, and materials to build our capacity to better facilitate a high level of staff development and program quality that will ultimately benefit the youth we serve. The coach will also serve as the SEL community outreach coordinator and training facilitator to assist in
supporting our families, stakeholders, and districts in implementing socially and emotionally healthy practices in our communities and districts.
The Location: Our corporate offices are located just east of downtown Ft. Worth. We operate onsite programs in Crowley ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Keller ISD, and several private and charter schools. This position is based in our corporate office but may travel to visit program sites and community partners regularly.
Who should apply?
* Qualified candidates must be at least 21 years of age and possess a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in
educational or organizational leadership, staff development, adult education or related field.
* The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience teaching or coaching adults, experience with social and emotional learning and show strong evidence of successfully developing, designing and delivering training content to adults and community stakeholders.
