Nexus Recovery Center is seeking a Philanthropy Manager to join the team! Reporting to the Information Services Manager, this position will create, improve, and maintain business and fundraising processes within the Philanthropy & Communications Department. In addition, this position will build, cultivate, and solicit a portfolio of donors in support of the agency’s private fundraising goals. This position will manage migration of donor records and information into a new CMS (Raiser’s Edge), implement rollout of CMS and create policies and procedures for moves management, gift entry, and appeal structures, maintain overall data quality of records in donor database, conduct training for staff and board members responsible for soliciting donations in proper use of the donor database tools and record upkeep, prepare and provide a variety of reports and analysis, including but not limited to fundraising goals, donor retention, and appeal performance; work with CEO and Information Services Manager to develop stewardship and cultivation strategies for new and returning donors. Cultivate and solicit donors giving between $500 and $15,000 annually, and maintain a calendar of meetings and proposals. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree. Minimum of two years’ work experience. Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communications skills. Ability to think and act strategically with a superior ability to identify, deconstruct and then resolve challenges and issues that may impact the organization. Proven ability to raise philanthropic revenue while maintaining the highest level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive donor information. Ability to interact well with high-net worth individuals, corporate and foundation executives, and civic and community leaders. Must have valid driver license and pass a background check.
