Position Summary

The Office Manager is a full-time position responsible for providing administrative support in a wide range of capacities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Front-office functions and administrative duties
  • Full responsibility for phones, reception, and daily mail
  • Database management
  • Donor relations
  • Inventory of office equipment and programs
  • Facility management and service requests
  • Schedule and set up meetings
  • Interface with suppliers and vendors
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Troubleshoot IT issues
  • Supporting roles for annual conference, fundraising events and other special projects
  • Preparation of documents for board meetings

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in a professional or business setting
  • Commitment to organization’s vision, core values, and mission
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, DonorPerfect, and Constant Contact
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Impeccable grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with staff, donors, board members, volunteers, and community partners
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Dependability, flexibility and ability to maintain confidentiality

Physical Requirements

The Grant Halliburton Foundation Office Manager must have the ability to spend time seated, the dexterity to perform computer keyboard functions, the ability to stand for long periods of time, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

The employee must have reliable transportation.

FLSA: Exempt – Salaried; Full-Time

Reports to: President, Grant Halliburton Foundation
