Recovery Resource Council is seeking to hire a full-time, Master’s level Youth Indicated Prevention Counselor (LPC or LPC-Associate) to serve adolescents in Tarrant County area schools with in-person, one-on-one counseling services. Knowledge of the dynamics of substance misuse and the continuum of care within prevention, treatment, and recovery preferred. Knowledge of Client-Centered and Trauma-Informed Care services preferred.

Requirements:  Master’s degree and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) equivalent or higher licensure required. Free in-house license supervision is available for LPC-Associates. Covid-19 vaccination card required. Must have prior experience working with youth and must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to market the program, display high levels of professionalism, documentation, ethics, boundaries, initiative, and overall organizational skills. Previous substance use prevention knowledge and experience preferred. Prior experience providing prevention education preferred; additional on-job curriculum and prevention training required, including certification testing within first 18 months.  Must have reliable transportation, automobile insurance, and valid TX D.L.
