The Women’s Center is seeking a full-time PEARLS Case Manager and Program Support Specialist for the General Counseling Services Program.  The General Counseling Program helps clients resolve crises, manage life transitions and develop better coping and problem-solving skills. PEARLS (Program to Encourage Active and Rewarding Lives) is an evidenced-based treatment program designed to significantly reduce depressive symptoms and improve health status in older adults.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide social barrier assessment, crisis intervention, referral, and case management to clients of the Center presenting with issues related to aging, access, education, and mental health issues.
  • With guidance and input from the Program Director, develop and maintain the essential components of PEARLS Connect
  • Prepare and coordinate, in a confidential manner, all client intake information including personal and case management related information.
  • Provide appointment scheduling to individual clients of the Center and office assistance and support to program participants and counselors of the PEARLS program for older adults.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
  • Case Management/Experience working with Older Adults preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
