The Junior League of Fort Worth (JLFW) is hiring!  We need a energetic and qualified individual to serve as Finance Administrator for our JLFW office.  Candidate should be skilled at managing all financial-related tasks for JLFW in this 30 hour per week position ( 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday).

Candidate is required to attend JLFW Finance Council meetings and some evening meetings.  Candidate may also need to work expanded hours in the evenings and on weekends (as JLFW large events like Christmas in Cowtown and Grand Entry Gala approach).

Job Description for Finance Administrator (Sits on Finance Council)

 Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree with five or more years of accounting and finance or bookkeeping experience.

Skills:  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software and QuickBooks. Database and experience preferred.  Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, be very detail oriented and have good interpersonal skills. Organization and communication skills are also required.  Knowledge of non-profit financial management is beneficial.  This position requires an adaptable person as their supervision is provided by a volunteer board and changes annually. This position is responsible for providing continuity to the financial and business functions of the Junior League of Fort Worth (JLFW).

Reports to: Directly reports to Finance Vice President (Volunteer Position).  Indirectly reports to President (Volunteer Position), President-Elect (Volunteer Position), Administration Vice President (Volunteer Position) and Assistant Finance Vice President (Volunteer Position).  All positions change annually.

Position Summary:  The Finance Administrator Position is 30 hours per week. The Finance Administrator is responsible for management of the finances for the Junior League of Fort Worth. Responsibilities include cash management, accounting and bookkeeping duties, insurance policy administration, and performing other business operations. This person will also oversee the annual financial statement audit, tax reporting, and payroll processing. These functions are all performed independently by this position.  This position carries the responsibility for maintenance and management of accounts for League officers.
