SUMMARY:  The Executive Director is ultimately responsible for the overall administration of the Center including financial management, program development, staffing, and community interface.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A deep understanding of and commitment to the complexities of addiction and to uphold the mission and vision of the Center
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Excellent leader with ability to manage day-to-day operations of multiple departments
  • Ability to lead strategic initiatives required for long-term success and growth
  • Good communicator and listener who respects the abilities of staff and fosters personal growth
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to constructively interact with community partners and be an advocate for addiction treatment and recovery
  • Presents a high degree of maturity, integrity, ethics, and caring
  • Education:  Bachelor's Degree required
  • Professional experience:  15 years with 5 years of management; background in addiction treatment industry preferred; non-profit experience is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of departments including financial, clinical, adolescent care, admissions, marketing, utilization review, and compliance
  • Deliver strong financial performance and clinical outcomes
  • Lead strategic initiatives and partnerships which enhance Center performance
  • Set standards of operational excellence and monitor progress toward these standards
  • Hire and retain qualified staff
  • Develop staff through training, coaching, and mentorship
  • Create a positive and productive culture
  • Coordinate fundraising activities including individual giving, foundation/corporate grant support, and special fundraising events
  • Educate community partners and stakeholders about substance abuse issues, addiction, and treatment options
  • Develop relationships with outside organizations, including the medical community, referring physicians, and the media

ABOUT THE SPRINGBOARD CENTER:  Springboard is a full service, addiction treatment facility which provides medical detox, 30-day residential care, adolescent and adult IOP, and sober living.  A 32-bed extended care facility is currently under construction and will be completed in early 2020.  Our program is centered on an evidence-based curriculum and 12-step principles.  Springboard is a 501c3 non-profit organization which enjoys tremendous support from the great people of Midland, Texas and the surrounding area.

SALARY RANGE: $125,000-$175,000
