Description
- Oversee all aspects of the member experience, including business development, onboarding new members, and managing coworking software. Ensure the space remains accessible, safe, and conducive to productivity while promptly addressing and resolving member concerns.
- Lead the planning and execution of community events and workshops that promote a collaborative entrepreneurial environment and support financial well-being, working closely with the Economic Mobility Services team to align programming with the logic model and evaluation plan.
- Direct marketing efforts, including website management, community engagement, social media strategy, newsletters, and event promotion, in collaboration with the marketing team to drive member engagement, program participation, and achievement of sales goals.
- Manage daily operations and upkeep of coworking spaces, audio and video studios, makerspace, commercial and demonstration kitchens, and event rentals.
- Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures for department and agency.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal teams to resolve operational issues, including technology, furnishing and equipment.
- Support the financial oversight of Riverside Coworking by assisting in the management of operational budgets. Monitor financial performance, track grant spending, and ensure compliance with financial targets and grant requirements to sustain growth and impact.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; MBA preferred.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role, ideally within coworking, entrepreneurship support, hospitality, or related industries.
· At least 2 years of experience supporting entrepreneurs through programming, coaching, or other business support services.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
· Ability to build strong relationships with members, team members, and partners, effectively communicate ideas, and manage multiple priorities.
· Skilled in using digital tools like Microsoft Office, Skedda and Square to manage operations, member communications, scheduling, and financial transactions.
· Demonstrates agility in responding to evolving demands, maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach under pressure.
· Familiarity with local business resources, networks, and opportunities that can benefit members, fostering connections and support within the community.
· Awareness of the unique financial challenges faced by historically marginalized populations, particularly single mothers, and the ability to design and deliver supportive, inclusive programs.
