The Community Relations and Events Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, managing, cultivating and retaining volunteers. This includes individuals, churches, community organizations, and corporate arenas. The manager will be responsible for representing Interfaith at community engagement events, coordinating our monthly 2nd Saturday volunteer project, maintaining the volunteer database, project management tools, designing monthly volunteer communications to provide updates and keep volunteers engaged, acknowledging and appreciating volunteers, and providing tours to Interfaith guests. As it relates to events, they will support and promote the planning and execution of special events as directed by the CDO, including the auxiliary luncheon, open houses, golf classic, and more. The ideal candidate will enjoy public speaking and possesses the ability to work well in a demanding and deadline-driven environment, a strong sense of personal responsibility, passion for our cause, and a commitment to excellence. Evenings and weekends are required in this position.
