The Community Investment Associate is responsible for managing educational programming, supporting TREC member engagement activities, assisting with the Dallas Catalyst Project (“DCP”) initiative, managing post loan closing reporting, and supporting board management of TREC Community Investors (“TREC CI”) Board of Directors and Advisory Board. This position requires a high degree of organization, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively and, at times, with minimal supervision. This individual must be flexible, calm under pressure, possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in response to the demands of the day-to-day activities of the organization. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to community development. The Community Investment Associate reports to the Senior Director of Community Investment.
Education Program Management: Manage TREC CI community real estate educational programs, including managing meeting logistics, presentation materials, securing speakers and ensuring TREC member engagement.
Dallas Catalyst Project Support: Support CI staff in the overall management of all DCP-related initiatives including, scheduling, budget management, site visits and TREC member and community engagement.
Loan Portfolio Management: Manage borrower reporting and monitor loan agreement compliance and loan performance.
TREC CI Board Administrative Management: Work with the Sr. Director in setting agendas, managing meeting logistics, and presentation materials.
Member Engagement & Volunteer Management: Support the Community Investment Manager in identifying ways to engage TREC Members in committees, and with projects and volunteer activities.

Local travel for meetings and volunteer support activities as requested and occasional evening and weekend work. Some early mornings and late evenings required.
This position requires the ability to set up and run meetings and events. As such, individuals should be able to meet physical demands and be able to lift up-to ten pounds.
College degree required, with some experience in finance or business. Demonstrated interest in Community Development. Minimum 2-5 years of work experience.
Previous experience in project management, commercial real estate, communications, volunteer management and meeting coordination preferred.
